Jantze, J. Roth. The largest class in school, the sophomores, are twenty-eight strong. There are thirteen boys and fifteen girls. They sponsored a roller skating party on November 12 in Seward. Three sophomore girls helped the junior class by participating in its play. Waiters and waitresses were chosen from this class to serve at the junior-senior banquet in the spring. Mr. Kuhre is the class sponsor. Riley, Miss Huston, Sponsor. There are eleven boys and two girls in the junior class. The main activities of the class were the junior play, Take It Easy, presented in November and the junior-senior banquet given in May. The class also decorated for the senior baccalaureate and commencement. Miss Huston is the sponsor, and Mrs. Godbey is her assistant. The freshman class has twenty-three members, fifteen boys and eight girls. The class sponsor is Mr. Schmadeke. The freshmen were initiated in September. During the day the boys wore dresses and the girls wore overalls and plow shoes. They all had painted faces and carried a skinned mouse in a jar. The afternoon activities included an all-school picnic at the Trade School park. The freshmen ran backwards to the park where they went through various stunts to entertain the upperclass¬ men. Everyone had a good time—even the freshmen! During the month of November the class sponsored a roller skating party held at Seward. CLASS OFFICERS President. Vice-President.
