I u EIEIIU'W .- aw- On September 4, 1962, the new Milford High School was opened to 877 students for the firs: time. On November 4, it was dedicated to a capacity audience. It represents h a supreme effort by the patrons of the district to provide a quality of secondary educa- tion equal to the best to be found anywhere To this aim the administration is also committed. ' At the heart of this committmem are the individual teacher and student. In the final analysis, whatever progress Milford High School makes towards its objectives, is direcrly proportionate to the dedication of their talents and energy to this cause. OUR MODEL Roger and JO show that students at Mil- ford zzlway; agree on matters concerning neatness. Health comes first with students at Milford. Kitty seems to be appreciating Carol's demonstration of consideration for others, seniors' motto of the year. CLASSMATES Milford Students obviously take an active part in the physical fitness program. Rats! Who says students at Milford don't care about good grooming? Joyce, you know yodll need your shoes for the 50-mile hike! OUR FACULTY Mr. Yentesh dream come truehthe Mil- ford High School Pep Club. This new addi- tion to the school has given the basketball team moral support necessary to help them win the Eastern Hills League Championship this year When we have aches and pains, for :1 sure cure we depend on the aid and ad- vice of our school nurse, Mrs. Ward. Our indispensable librarian, Mrs. Botz, directs us in the use of the library. Jaci Baker Judy Bitmer Carol Clark Diane Cozad Dave Davis Jackie Davis J0 Carol Durbin Pat Eager Linda Grieman Jerry Mason Jeanne Moorman Andrea O'Brien Susan O'Connor Carol Raidt Andrea Sams Bud Siemmering Donna Steioff Amidst the applause of the seniors, who gratefully ac- knowledge her devotion to the teaching profession, Miss Heisetman receives an orchid from Susan O'Connor, Dm- fl'im editor. Upon completing another chapter in our lives, we begin to experience wonderful memories of the past four years. With these memories we acquire a new awareness of our goals and how they have been aided in their fulfill- ment by events of the past. Among these memories is that of one dedicated teacher who is admired and respected by her students past and present because of her devotion both to the teaching profession and to the improvement of her students. To have learned under her skilled guidance was an experience which helped us to grow as individuals and to become better members of society; This which she has given to us is something which can never be taken from us. It is with sincere humility and gratitude that we, the graduating Class of 1965, dedicate this, out yearbook, to Miss Velma Heisermani N A M R E S H H A M I.. The big evening begins with the excite- ment of preparing for the long-awaited moment. Tension mounts as future plans are discussedhplans which include college, marriage, or a business career. Recognition of achievements in high school brings a feeling of x pride, not only in ourselves, but also in our fellow classmates, After commence- ment the graduates experience a sense of joyejoy that we are now officially a part of the adult world, 21 world in which we must share responsie bilities as well as priv- ilegesv When its all over, there is mrrow be- cause an important segment of our lives, our high-school days, has come to a close. As we say good-bye to our friends, we know that we will never see many of them again We can Only hope that each member of the Class of 1963 will be successful in all he attempts. 31 MOST ARTISTIC-Betty Money and Jerry Rooms I'd move my foot, but this is the best way I know to get rid of competition. For most of the years of your lives others have been doing things for you in order that you may be prepared to accept your responsibilities as adults. The time is now approaching when you will be trying your own wings. As you approach this time and accept the responsibilities which will be yours, may you always re- member that one's success is measured in terms of what you do for others rather than in what you get for yourselfu Mr. Fley Mr. Fley SCHOOL BOARDyStanding: Mr. Kietzman, Mr. Fley.
