Prophecy Milford, Pa. June 3, 1965 Dear Hal, I was glad to hear that you had been selected as head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Best of luck. While I was having lunch at my hotel, I bumped into Anita, Donna Jean, Louise, Patsy, and Mary. I talked with them and discovered that they are all private secretaries for large business firms. Louise is married and has several children. Mary, when she isn't working in her office, is helping out at the local youth center, which is under the supervision of Harry Feldman. While glancing through our local paper I noticed that a plane went down in Africa. Listed among the passengers was Jack, who is now a big-game hunter and a famous explorer, and Bob Murphy, who as you know, is working on the plans for a space-ship to the moon. The hostess was cited for her courage in keeping the passengers calm. Believe it or not, Peggy was the hostess. I was turning the page when I noticed a picture of Lillian. She has discovered a positive cure for polio. In the next column was Cecile's name. She is a medical secretary at Johns Hopkins Hospital in New York. Glancing over the sports page I noticed that Pete I-Ierguth, center of the famous New York Knick's basketball team, scored over 125 points in last night's game at the garden. Also shown was the score of the final game of the U. S. Invitational basketball tournament for high school teams. The winner was the Delaware Valley Joint High School teams, ably coached by John, Last year, as you may remember, this same team was the runner-up. The school's girls' team, coached by Carolyn, was the winner in the State finals. I received a letter from Tom Brucher yesterday. He invited me to visit him. He wanted to come to Milford, but his job as co-director of forest conservation at Yellowstone National Park with Bob Miller keeps him busy. If I go, I want to stop at one of the many garages owned by Pete Nearing. I might even run into Bob Ording, who is one of Pete's best mechanics. I might even go over the new super highway from New York to San Francisco which was built by the Degen Diggers, Inc. While watching television the other night, I saw Arthur Erickson, who is the top announcer on radio and TV. He announced the runners-up in the contest for housewives. They were Grace, Shirley, Beverly, Evelyn, Inez, and Joan. The winner will be announced tomorrow night. Arthur also had a guest on one of his programs. She is a nurse in Pike County and has traveled over 60, 000 miles to visit patients. She is none other than Arline. Next time you are in this part of the country, I'11 show you around. One of the main points of interest is the McKean ranch, which is the largest dairy and beef ranch in the state. Well, I have to go now. Sheila wants me to put the kids to bed. Your good friend, Paul K.
