Class Prophecy Time: June 1968 Place: Home Sweet Home The other day I was planning a vacation from my work modeling fur coats for horses at Yonkers Raceway, I decided for a change from trips in Sputnik, to Mars etc. Iwould return to the scene of my childhood, that rollicking space-port of Milford, Earth. Iwent to the nearest jet-port, Cortese's Fly- a-way to inquire about flights. As Iwalked in the door a dark-haired man with a mustache, whom I recognized as my friend, Don, ushered me into the room. He told me he was planning to take a trip back himself for our class reunion, which Ihad forgotten about, and was leaving tomorrow. Isaid I would be at the space-port at 10 a.m. Earth time. The next morning as I stepped our of my jet-car, a porter rushed over to take my bags. Who should it be but Dean Thorn. He had taken the course at Joe Gomillers' Salon for Fat Men and now when your bags walk away by themselves it's not venetian light rays it's Skinny Thom. As the jet took off with Don at the controls assisted by his co-pilot Jamie McGonigal, who should come rolling down the aisle but Iohanne Johnson, the skinniest girl in our senior class, Qdid Isay skinnyrj to the music of the new outer-space discovery Jetty Bobnick and His Little Green Men, Spacey Neff, Rocky Kovatchitch, and Pupnik Olmsted. She offered me a green pill and when I asked her what it was she said it was the cure for space-sick- ness developed by Doctors H. Butler, I. McGonigal, and D. Young in their spare time. I took it and turned green all over. After a smooth trip and a safe landing we decided to visit the new high school At the door of the school we were met by Principal Al Bennett who is known as the spacest principal they have ever had. We visited the classes of Dr. D. Young on space science and listened to a lecture by Dr. H. Butler who re- placed a Mr. West, and jokes, whom the children describe as real gone. QTHANK l-IEAVENI As we left the school after a very spacey day Isaw Caroll PufferQPangmanj picking up her eight space monsters in her jet car. Prof. Bennett told us our reunion would be held in September so we would have plenty of time to see the space sights. Gee, I'm looking forward to seeing what happened to all our class. Sincerely, ll- ,I '
