We entered high school with twenty elght members, and wlth Mr Cline as our class advlsor Our Freshmen officers were Presldent, Janet Smith, Vice President, Patty Roseboom, Secretary, John Denny, and Treasurer, Donald Patton Our student council representative was Sammy Woodrow Valli Halstead loaned her talents to the Purple Parrot staff Our class was active 1D many school activities, with four members on the J V basketball team, flve rn band, and n1ne in chorus Wanda Kiser, Louise Dutcher and Patty Roseboom represented us as J V cheerleaders The marn actlvity ot that early year w s our initlation We ran merrily through the cemetery wearing feedbags while a bunch of Jokers called JUHIOPS poured flour down our necks The next year we found we had lost Dorothy and Donalc Chapman, Dlck Currie and Donald Konchar he gained Bernle Early and Sally Mallory With Mr Kelsen as our class advlsor our offlcers were President, Don Patton, V1ce Presldent, Pete Todd, Secretary, Doris Loucks, and Treasurer Burt Olmstead We had 11ve members on the football team, one on varslty basketball, and elght on J V Our J V Cheerleaders were Loulse Dutcher, Wanda Klser, and Janlce Lockwood Slx members were in chorus and three in band Four of our members were on the officers' council The extent oi our HCt1VitieS that year was many hayrldes and bake sales, and the selling of sweat shlrts class contalned only twenty three members We had lost Belnie Early, Norman Larsen, Sally Mallory and Harry betterly Donald Patton was agaln President, Burt Olmstead, Vice President, Eleanor Ras ussen, Secretary, and Sammy Woodrow, Treasurer Mr Bates was our class advisor Our student councll representatives were Pete Todd and Patty Roseboom had three members lH band, four ln chorus, six on the football squad, two on varsity basketball and slx on J V Our Varsrty cheerleaders were Patty Roseboom and Loulse butcher J V cheerleaders were Dotsey Edson and Janet Smith This year, twenty one memb Patty Roseboom, Marylee Strong, our last year of hlgh school, has left our class with ers We lost Doris Loucks, Valli Halstead, Roger Butler, Janet Smith, and Dotsey Edson, but we gained Marion Osterhou Margle Mahnken, and Andrew Sugarick Our class officers are Don Patton, President, Burt Olmstead, V1ce President, Louise Dutcher, Secretary, and Sam Woodrow, Treasurer Our student council representatives are Russ Hanson and Pete Todd This year we have six members on varsity basketball, four lH chorus, four on the baseball team and two rn band Marylee Strong is our only varsity cheerleader Mr West and Mrs Nash are our Senlor Class advlsors This Vear we have been frantically trylng to scrape enough money together to get to Washington We h ve been selling magazines, Christmas cards, taffy and anything else on whlch we can manage to lay our hands Our most successful events have been our roller skating parties As graduatlng Seniors we wish success and happlness to all our fellow students of M H S Sponsor Rowe Insurance Agency 15 t, a ' . ,, - U .
