The curling club enjoyed another successful year. Each team played ten games at Rossmere Curling Club. The winners were: Ken Mitchell, Skip; Mr. Wiebe, Third; Greg Warriner, Second; Hugh Windsor, Lead. The finalists were: Ray Ryan, Skip; Mr. P. Heubner, Third; Elaine Lowry, Second; Vince Lopata, Lead. BOWLING CLUB Although the past season of 1962-63 saw a decrease in the number of teams that participated, the bowling league had a very successful year. Competition, both on a team and an individual basis, was keen. This spirit was very evident in that there were ties for first and second positions. The final standings were: Gutterballs 87 Kildonians 87 Alley Gators 84 Flukers 84 The Shoots 79 Pot Shots 74 Boppers 65 The roll-offs were held on May 14 at Lynnwood Alleys and the championship team are Shirley Chiborak, Naida Stringer, Beverley Mann, Jim McKellar, and J. Procillo (captain) The high average champions are Brenda Bean (171) and Bruce Sutherland (184) TUMBLING CLUB The Tumbling Club, under the able direction of Mr. Kuran put on an excellent display in the Variety Concert. Members of the club were: Pete Thompson, Don Hatch, Ken Mailey, Doug Brown, Wally Howard, Cliff Schultz, Danny McCullough, Jim Hull, Bruce Jackson, Keith Jones, Hugh Stephans, Jim Bakken.
