THE WINNIPEG SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA VISIT The W. S. O. under the direction of Victor Feldbrill On January 24, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra paid a visit to Miles Mac. As could have been expected, many students didn ' t really appreciate their coming until they actually came. Upon their visit, students who thought they would fall asleep as the con¬ cert progressed found themselves enjoying every minute of it. The visit was largely due to the efforts of Mr. Meadows and Mr. Scarrow and the East Kildonan School Board. The visit was sincerely enjoyed by everyone in the school, and when the concert was over, Victor Feldbrill and his excellent orchestra received a standing ovation. THE MANITOBA THEATRE CENTRE VISIT Center visited Miles MacDonell. In their company was includ¬ ed Len Cariou, a former student of Miles MacDonell, Eric Donkin, and Maureen Fitzgerald The Theatre Centre presented a hilarious programme of light material to everyone ' s amusement. Thanks again go to Mr. Meadows, Mr. Scarrow, and the East Kildonan School Board for bringing the players to our School. Their visit was one that will long be remembered. Miles Mac can certainly be proud of Len Cariou who received part of his Education under the same teachers as we, the stu¬ dents of 1962-63, are receiving ours.
