A new item that we added to the M. M. C. R. broadcasts was the dedications. This turned out to be quite successful. The club provided MC ' s for the Variety Concert. The announcers for the basket¬ ball games were members of the Oratorical Club. The club had a very successful year, including debates, and visits by well-known speakers. SCHOOL SPIRIT COMMITTEE The School Spirit Commit¬ tee which is new at Miles Mac strove to increase school spirit by organizing pep rallys, and selling beanies. They also purchased an Honor Roll of Student Council Executives. The committee also offered numerous suggestions for pro¬ moting school enthusiasm in future years. It is hoped that in the years to come the committee will have a student body to work with which will be as co-operative and enthusiastic as the Students of the 1962-63 year have been. 97
