BADMINTON The Badminton Club enjoyed a very successful year for 1961-62. A greatly increased membership totalled 70 persons. Since there was space for only three courts, playing time was limited to ten minutes per game. The club executive arranged the schedule of £• games while those members wait- jC ing for courts batted a birdie back and forth, struggled with home¬ work, or played chess. Various teachers took turns supervising the badminton. A Badminton Tournament ended the term ' s ac¬ tivities. The members partici¬ pated in this one game knock-out series with great enthusiasm. The winners emerged as: Girls ' Singles - Bonnie McCallum; Boys ' Singles - Ken Maily; Girls ' Doubles - Bonnie McCallum, Pat Sloan; Boys ' Doubles - Ken Maily, Ken Morris; Mixed Doubles - Pat Sloane, Ed Smith.
