MRS. GILBERT TAPLIN As a class, we do humbly dedicate this, our annual, to our parents, our faculty, and all those who have helped guide us through our school years. We especially want to acknowledge the help and encouragement of Mrs. Gilbert Taplin. Without her sincere desire to make our classasuccess- ful one, neither this annual nor any of the class's projects would have been possible,

N-'Q s X-in Ax X Seek early that field of endeavor which interests you most and you can do best: then put into it every bit of energy ambition and natural ability you possess. Remember that the successful person is usually the one that makes a habit of doing the things failures dislike to do. Above all, be cheerful and happy. Happiness and success are components seldom found separately, and you must look within yourself for each. They cannot be handed to you Be sure to keep yourself clean and bright, for you are the window through which you must see the world. Each year a group of Seniors reach the milestone of graduation This means no more than you yourself have made it. You have really just sharpened the tools with which you will now work We hope you have done the job well. These are the tools you will use from now on, to carry you through life. We have tried to guide you in all your work, and it is hoped that you have learned the one greatpurpose of life, Service to others. In order to perform this service easily and efficiently you have spent twelve years of study, most of them very happy years. Now you have reached the place where you are called upon to make your own decisions more and more. It is my hope that all your tools are sharp and in readiness for whatever task you may be called upon to perform. There is not time to hesitate. You must go forward. Choose wisely, work hard, and remember that happiness comes by untiring service for others. Congratulations now, and much happiness in the future. Doretta G. Who knows? The next one may be you You have as good an opporttuuty to do so as does anyone else All of us draw the same salary in seconds, minutes and hours but yours is mostly ahead of you Use it wisely Time IS the only thing that can be neither bought sold nor hoarded
