- F.H.A. - - -- F.H.A. Strengthens Personal Goals The Miles Chapter of the Future Homemakers of America Area 4 par- ticipated in many worthwhile projects this year. The F.H.A sponsored a very successful Bike and Walk-a-thon to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The riders and walkers raised over 51,000 to go toward cancer research. Also, the members enjoyed many programs held throughout the year. The All-School Pageant and the Sweetheart Presentation provided j students with the opportunity to show off their talents. At the Area Convention held in Stephenville, the Miles Chapter received a cash award for having the best attendance. Carrie and Rocky pose after be- ing named Sweetheart and Beau. Also at this meeting, Dr. Iohn Paul Matthews, Opt. presented an informative talk on eye care. Tracy presides over the meeting while Paige looks on.
