- Drill Team This year's drill team consisted of 4 seniors, 9 juniors, 9 V sophomores, and 10 freshmen. The beat of the drums was heard is, 5 every day during football season as the girls worked to perfect their K drill for Friday night. At the Homecoming game the drill team used ,zli flashlights for a very interesting and challenging half-time 1 'K ' V performance. Twirlers: Angela Schraer, Pam Roberts-Head, Christi Ray M.H.S. twirlers attended the 1983 Tarleton State Twirling Camp this past summer where they earned a total of 19 Superioriand Excellent ribbons. They also brought home the Spirit Baton award for showing the most spirit during the week-long camp. In addition, all three were placed on the daily Twirlers's Honor Roll at least once.
