1978 Senior Class Prophecy By the Juniors This is the year 1988. We would like to look back on the Senior Class of 1978 and see what each individual has accomplished throughout the years. We would like to congratulate RITA CASAREZ. Because of her wonderful talents, she has become the first lady member of the Harlem Globe Trotters. SHARON McWlLLlAMS has been tagging along behind Rita airing up basketballs and personally assisting her in financial matters. She has been seen several times in the company of Meadowlark Lemon's good looking manager. Since GAYLON SCHNIERS has graduated, he has gone every month to the Welfare office in his 550,000 trac- torto pick up his welfare check, which he uses to pay for the meals he eats in the lunchroom. All the misery and torture we went through watching LETICIA SALINAS practice her dancing on the school bus was for a good purpose. She is the latest winner in a dance contest on American Band Stand and is co-host to Dick Clark. Well RlKKl POPE, now that's another story. She is still chasing the Wall graduates just cruising for a brusin. KATHY HEINZE learned so much at Miles High School taking pictures of all the acivities that she is now a photographer for Playgirl. We now feel we have been of use to BECKY KING by letting her push us into the lockers of Miles High School because she is now a member of the Kansas City Bombers Roller Derby Team. We are proud to say CLAY HOLIK is from Miles. And because of his love of basketball, he is a member of the Boston Celtics. Another member of the Celtics is mild mannered Clark, STANLEY SCHNIERS, Kent, who is seen stepping on the basketball court. As he pulls off his warm-up top he turns into Super Stanley and commences with his twisting, driving, turning, flying through the air shots at the basket. Picking himself up from the wall, he says was it close? And LANCE LACY'S love of football and drama has given him an idea following that of Joe Namath's panty hose which he calls Lance's lacey leotards. HOPE IBARRA is now using her ability of fast fingers in typing toward another occupation. She now owns and manages her own massage parlor. After so many4Rowena Dances, ANNA LEE SHILLER has converted and has become a nun. She is now Mother Superior at Eola Catholic Church. Anybody have any problems or questions on personal matters? lf so, write Dear Bonnie. BONNIE KVAPIL has her own column in every paper in the nation. She is so good that Abbie and Ann Landers were forced to resort to food stamps. JANIE FREEMAN is still not engaged. She has just received a 24 carat diamond ring. We hope this time the engagement will be announced. One of the students of this Senior class is now very profitable in her own profession. She does her own work and manages her money very well. Her high school days have helped her in her work. This student is KELLY WILLIAMS, who now owns Kelly's Kennel for St. Bernards only. DARLENE HENRY was always the quiet one of the Senior girls. And now much to our surprise, she has become the famous Miles Barbara Walters . Because of DUANE SCHNIERS' ability in building, he is now a professional architect. He has just recently built the first skyscraper in Miles which stands 31!1 stories high. Another of his famous accomplishments is the building of the new Miles High School gymnasium. Seniors of 1978 are planning to have their 20th year school reunion. But they still cannot decide on the time, place, or band. Half the class wants to go to Rowena and dance to the Cavaliers, and the other half wants to go to Austin and listen to Rabbit.
