Sophomores Create Roadblocks Sometimes labeled rowdy and troublesome, the sophomore class created some roadblocks and overcame others. These barriers showed up in, as well as out of, the classroom. These students, well known for their athletic abilities, con- tinued to be active in such sports as football, wrestling, boys and girls basketball and gymnastics. The class also cruised along in declam, debate, drama, and many of the organiza- tions. Most sophomores just LOVED the speeches for English, the tests in biology, and the notes in world history. The fact that the last twelve minute run had been completed and that the last year of gym was over did not hurt too many feelings, either. The sophomores have been readied for the next lap of their journey. Maturity may find fewer roadblocks.
