The Sophomores won top honors in the float competition with their theme The Flowery Path to Vic- tory. Sophomore class attendants are Sherry Poppen and Terry An- derson walking along the path. With the eyes of Clark Gable gazing over the scene. Queen Roberta Dornbusch and King John Emanuel were chosen to reign over the homecoming festivities of 1970. Jeannie Campbell, Judie Reiners, and Jackie Reiners used the ROARING 20's theme to pro- vide a colorful setting for the twelve singers and dancers who entertained the royalty with songs from the twenties. The candidates for homecoming royalty were Queen-Vicki Reich, Sheila Walth, Roberta Dornbusch, and King-Brad Van de Voort, Tom Dravland, and John Emanuel. Homecoming day dawned with a little wind but clear skies for the colorful homecoming par- ade. That evening Webster put a damper on the homecoming festivities by defeating Milbank at the annual game. After the game the students danced to the music of the Soul Redemption at the homecoming dance which was sponsored by the student council. Has anybody seen my Mike Peden, David Eng, The Juniors received second place with their float theme- Like A Bridge Over Troubled Waters. On the bridge are the Junior class attendants Becky Bracht and Terry Steinlicht along with the crown bearers Terrence Buescher and Sherry Kon- stant.
