RETURN TO SEE Queen Linda Grams and King Jim Nixon A football atmosphere was the setting for the 1962-1963 Homecoming. Homecoming started on Thursday evening, October 27, with the coronation of King and Queen. Crown bearers were Nancy Allen and Lane Gruenwald. Linda Grams and James Nixon were crowned 1962 Royalty by Donna Williams Minahan and Rich- ard Raffety, former Homecoming Royalty. The Mil- bank High School Octet sang a selection in their honor. Other senior candidates were Sandra Nelson, Constance Vesecky, David Buchele, and Michael Heffernan. Attendants from the other classes were as fol- lows: Juniors, Nadine Bunting and David Holbert; Sophomores, Marsha Sly and Dennis Englund; Freshmen, Thylma Hammer and David Loeschke. The Homecoming Parade took place on Friday afternoon with the Junior class taking first place in the float division. The Sophomores and Library Club took second and third place respectively. Friday evening the Milbank Bulldogs defeated the Canton C-Hawks by a score of 21-7. Following the game, Leo Fortin and his Orchestra played for the annual Homecoming Dance held in the high school auditorium, bringing a very successful Home- coming to a close. 28
