VOCAL MUSIC The MHS chorus made five ap- pearances this year. These includ- ed a Christmas concert, two other concerts, and supplements to the Open House and Baccalaureate programs. Vocal ensembles and soloists also made appearances at many community functions. In the regional music contest held in Watertown on February 10, the vocalists received 5 superiors, 3 excellents, and 1 good. This year the band gave three con- certs, played for Homecom- ing and Commencement, and was asked to play at the sec- tional tournament in Web- ster. Members of the MHS Band received 11 superiors, 8 ex- cellents, and 3 goods at the Region 3 music contest in Watertown.
