Spirits were put at a high pitch Thursday evening at a rousing pep lest and bonfire. A twisting, turning snake dance led MHS students to the scene, which was climaxed with cheers for the team and fight-on speech- es from alumnae. Floats of every size, shape, color and variety turned out Friday morning at 10:30 for the traditional Homecoming parade. The freshmen class took first place honors with a hunting theme in float competition; the M club second, and the Merry Stenos third. The time was drawing closer. At 2:00 p.m. that afternoon the Milbank Bullpups met the Watertown B squad, the Bullpups facing defeat. How- ever, enthusiasm still supreme, Homecoming rocketed to a terrific climax with the defeat of the Redfield Pheasants — 19 to 7. MHS Homecoming concluded with a dance following the game. Thus, another Homecoming, another victory — now, another memory.
