They are: President, Dave Walters, Vice-President, Jay Wingo, Secretary, Jacqueline Delaverdacg Treasurer, Jay Bennett, and Student Council Representative, Geneva Hall. Our officers had a very successful term. Shortly after our election we had another class meeting and nominated two girls for Queen's Court, Marcia McConeghy and Jacqueline Delaverdac. This year the class chose a class ring with a simple, conservative style. The class was able to go out for all clubs and sports and almost everyone was a very enthusiastic Joiner. The class has had two successful years and hope to have two more very successful ones. Freshmen L-A ,,...-... i Row Row Row Row C33 N McCrea D. Butler, C. Masten, K. Gilsen, P. Townsley, D. The theme was uAu Revoirn meaning good-bye to the graduating class. The gymnasium was decorated in lavender, orchid, and white crepe paper. As we entered the gymnasium we walked through the HArc de Triumphen and found ourselves on a Paris street. There was a small cafe in which an orchestra played music while everyone enjoyed themselves dancing and a French chef enjoyed himself while he looked on from one corner. On one side of the street was a park with benches and roses. The tables were decorated with fresh flowers and the programs had the picture of the Cafe Au Revoir on them. The invocation was given by Robert Uhl and then the dinner was served. Grape juice, with some imagination, carried out the theme by representing wine. The main course was roast beef, fish, mashed potatoe and salad. Rolls, milk, and coffee were also served. Everyone enjoyed the cherry pie for dessert. Larry Thompson was the Master of Ceremonies and did a fine job. He gave the welcome and Jim Linfield, the president of the senior class of l957, gave the Response. Miss Plant sang two selections, HMy Romance and HStill As the Night,H and Mrs. Mihalyi accompanied her. Mrs. Schutt our class advisor for our first three years, gave some very pleasant remarks. Kenny McCleery and Joe Kozumplik gave an accordian and guitar duet while Dennis Edwards gave an excellent trumpet solo. Mm. Guemple, as guest speaker, completed the speakers. Mrs. Richardson was presented the centerpiece from the head table in appreciation for the help she had given us. As a climax of the program the alma mater was sung by all.
