HA I ' v r Class Poem Our stage has been at Milan High, Our task, a four act play. The final curtain has drawn nigh, We'll tell of it today. As Extras, the first act Was found both new and strange, We, with the turning of each page Adjusted to the change. The second act went fleeting past. We read CAESAR--nThe Die is Cast.H As bright, new Starlets we were known, The seeds of learning here were sown. Understudies, our Junior year, We planned the Theatre's Ball. A play in a play was introduced: MEN ARE LIKE STREETCARS was produced. In robes of blue we stood in line, Stars at last--All Eighty-nine. The final curtain fell all too soon, Oscars were given the seventh of June. And now that the title of Stars we've won, The real test of talent has just begun We'll greet the world with our heads held high And look each new role straight in the eye. The curtain is downg we're on our way Into the world--And a bigger play. We have interesting guest speakers, such as Mr. Ross, Professor Sweet University of Michigan, Louise Delaverdac, Yolanda Scodellaro, Maung of Burma. At Christmas time we went caroling, took part in the annual Christmas Assembly, and sent nCareu packages. During the basketball season we earned money by selling ice cream bars at the games. On January 13, the Language Club sponsored a dance after a game. This year we decided to purchase Language Club pins for all the members. The Language Club purchased a portable record player which may be used by the entire high school. This gift will be appreciated and en- joyed by everyone . Row Clk L. Uranga, K. Smith, V. Wanty, B.
