STUDENTS RECEIVE SPECIAL RECOGNITION The 18th annual Honor Night sponsored by the Milan Lions Club was held on May 18, 1979, Everyone in grades 4-12 who maintaind a 3.0 grade average throughout the year was presented with a certificate and medal. Several scholarships were awarded to graduating seniors. Also, awards were given in the field of Math, Science. Art. Music. Refreshments were served by the Lions Club. TOP LEFT: Every year the Epsilon Chapter gives a SI 00.00 scholarship; Penni McKittrick was the lucky recipient. MIDDLE LEFT; Several seniors acquired honorary scholarships. HOLLYWOOD AT HOME For the past four years, the Milan High School Music and Art Depart- ment has rounded up a few of the many talented students to put together a “spectacular show which is one of the highlights of every school year. The theme was “That’s where the music takes me” and it focused on the fabulous 50’s. The cast per- formed old time dances and songs under the supervision of Mrs. Phil- lippe, Mr. Shein, Mrs. Richmond, and Mr. Hunger. TOP RIGHT: Bryan Gauck and Julie Fields take us back to the fabulous “50’s. MIDDLE LEFT: The stage band adds a little spark to the production.
