?romc y Lets take a jaunt on the old magic carpet and find out what ever happened to the Class of 48 . Ah, we're off. Here's Joan Ashcraft in the wilds of Africa. Hm....it looks as if she’s studying bugs. Why there’s Junior Ammerman. What do you know, h.s first piccalo player in the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Ah, now we find ourselves in a nightclub just in time for the floorshow. No, it csn't be, but it is. Judy Koenig is dancing second to the left in the chorus line. We’re going up into the clouds now, why here we are in the Empire State Building. Who’s that pitiful sight sitting among the scrub pails snd mops? Take us closer magic carpet. The scrub- woman is none other than Betty Huffman. Here we go again. My but this is a weird looking place way out here in the slums. Lets have a better look at the sign hanging over the door of this building. It reads: Friendly Funeral Parlor - Chet Nichols undertaker. Now we whirl through space and lsnd at Radio City. I wonder who we’ll find here? Say, this boy’s risen to great heights. It’s none other than Lawrence Ferringer, the most popular elevator boy. This time we have landed in the midst of a fashion show and Tootie Herbst has just been chosen as Best Dressed Woman in the World. I. J. Fox’s successor is there too. he is Est61 Barton. We now gaze on the big top of Barniim Bailey Circus. Up on the tightrope walks Ida Mae Lowes, while out in the sideshow we find Phyllis Williams as .earded lady. What’s this? Looks like a newspaper office. Why there’s Benny Benjamin sitting at a desk typing. He’s reporting society news under the bi-line of Benny Blabber. He has just finished writing something which intrests us very much, it reads: Mr. Alvin Busching, Sheik of Sad Sac Junction, has just married Doris Wiley, this is her eighth marriage. Here we also find Le Von V inters working on the same paper. He studied journalism for eight years and now writes the love- lorn column. We see that Joyce Kinkey and Bill are happily married. A Night Club has opened in town and the doorman is none other than Edward Ester. We see by the papers that Joe Webster has become head of T.W.A. Airlines.
