Members of the Milaca High School Band are truly year 'round musicians. Their work and practice goes on through the summer vacation as well as during school. This year our band said farewe11 to Mr. Tuovi Salo, who had served as director for the past seven years. A.n important part of the band's work is to contribute pep and entertainment at our basket- ball and football games as well as adding zip to our pepfests. The band also pre- sents many concerts during the year as well as being a snappy 3' 4' marching unit. Many cf. small ensembles have risen up amongst the ' ' di, members. These groups are often awarded high ratings for their fine performances.
