As our day of departure arrives we decide to visit just one more place. We heard that Doreen Nelson and Marion Holmer had started a television show at C. B. S., so we went there to see them. On their show was a special at- traction, that new husband and wife show, starring Lois Beck and Lero Mund . They had to cut their program short because William Frost, publicfty agent to M1nnesota's candidate for president, Egg Goad, had arranged-for a special pre-election speech. From there we decided we had better return to LaGuardia Airport and head back to Minnesota. Arriving at the airport we find the plane waiting to take off. We rush in and buy our tickets, and from no one else but Glen Beneditz. We asked him who our crew consisted of, and he told us that the pilot was Ted Cornelius, the co-pilot, Dennis Peterson, and the two air hostessess, Shirley Emo and Delores Brober . As we were about to board the plane when we saw some famillar faces. Igong them was Arnie garudas, new coach of the Minnesota Team, who was leaving for the Rose Eowl ame. Also, we saw Jim Buisman, Fred Kvale, and gg Smith, leaving for thi Worlds Championshifiil- Ilards Tournament. Giving them a royal send off was their old friend form Foreston, Bett Warner, who is now the Mayor of New York City. Times certain have changed, Eaven't they? As our plane takes off and we circle New York we look down on the city which is now inhabited by our former classmates. Then with a final wave we head towards Minnesota, glad to be going home but reluctant to leave our friends. x ly X MoTTo f X The door to success is labeled 'push'. 4---. 55959 nN lung!
