Page Sixty-one A , 11 xl' ig M NL 'W V 0 Page Sixty-two Class History As we stand here on the threshold of our careers, it is fitting that we should gaze backward over the years gone by. They have been years of happiness and pleasure, good fellowship and comradeship. They have been years of hard work, years of study and years of accomplishment. A number of our class have spent the whole twelve years at M. H. S. Many have joined us since then, some have left us. Above all we have received from school, we value the friendship of schoolmates and teachers. We shall never forget Mrs. Ringler, Miss Lincoln, Mrs. Dersham, Miss Kline, Miss Lodge, and Miss Mensch, who taught us our first six years. They taught us the fundamentals of learning, they have given us the right start on the Road of Life. Then we were in junior High, we thought we were pretty big, but we lost that the Freshman year when we realized we were just Ugreeniesf' Our four high school years are studdied with stars, by that we mean those class parties and picnics we used to have and the plays we presented. portrayed by those dramatically inclined of our class. This Senior year we have just completed has been one of looking forward and looking backward. We feel we are set to take our place in the ranks on the battle of life. It is with sorrow in our hearts that we leave the halls of M. H. S. the place where we spent years of happiness. To the members of the Nautilus Staff and the others who have given their time and effort to making this book a success, I give my most sin- cere thanks. jay A.
