He comes from Lewis Township in search of a higher education, making: his daily journey on the bus, W'e are not acquainted with Elwood's plans for the future, but he may be sure that our best wishes are with him. il W 41 i Rhoda Elizabeth Catherman Rhoda'A Home Economies Club, 3g Debating Club, -4, Rhoda is our industrious young' lady who has taken a liking to French, geom- etry, and-Centreville! A ready smile and a willing' answer announce Rhodofs pres- ence. XVe are not quite sure as to Rhoda's work after graduation, but we believe that the nurses' profession is going' to have a new member. Boys' Quartet, 4, Class Play, 3, 4. Jim first gained prominence as a sweet potato player on our class pro- grams. He now appears as the second bass also of the Boys' Quartet of which he is manager. James is quite a ladies' man, but he treats them all alike. Walter is quite a driver and uses this ability to make regular visits to certain Lewisburg girls. He has proved that he can be a terrible bad -man and horribly torture his victims with pins! H. S. Boys' Quartet, 4. Lloyd dcesn't have much to say but his grin seems to be permanent. He is an important member of the Mifflinburg High School Boys' Quartet of which he is the first bass. He is favored by many of the young' ladies, but his attentions are not centered on any one-we think! Pud has earned honors on the baseball and soccer squads. So here's a toast to a jolly good fellow! ir W Q t Mildred Alice Campbell Millie Freshman General Science Club, 13 English Club, 13 Athletic Board, 13 Civics Club, 2, Library Club, 3, 41 Glee Club, 3, 45 Class Play, 3, 4. Millie is the prize humorist of our class and delights in making' people laugh. She has many friends including canine pals and always has some new stories a- bout the latters' antics. Mildred has also proved her ability as an actress and holds her own in the commercial department. George Carr, the local Cab Callo- way, who seldom misses a movie! As a. hard-boiled character in the class plays George was a. genius, ant: it crops out in school life, too! Puf1y has an irresist- ible appeal that attracts everyone and makes them like him. Chippy, the futuie Roxy! Clyde is quite interested in thc modern movie pal- ace and hopes to own one himself some- day. He will also be remembered as the yes-man in one of the Senior class plays. We are certain that the high school will lose a very valuable factotum when Clyde graduates. This young' lady has brightened our class rolls for four years and has always taken an active interest in all activities. Wilmae likes to play basketball and is Z1 good student. She upholds the adage: When you do not know, ask questions. Our pretty blonde has many admirers tthere's safety in numbers, you knowl, but her attention doesn't seem to be focused in any one direction.
