Dear Midwood Seniors: It is traditional that the principal of a high school always remind the graduates of everything they owe their alma mater - the education, the good times, the dedication of faculty to the Welfare of students. However, this year I would break with tradition and thank you, the graduates, for what you have done for Midwood. In this, your senior year, New York City has found itself in the deepest financial crisis in its history. The dimensions of this crisis have affected the schools Very deeply and, in some cases, schools have functioned with extreme difficulty. Midwood has stayed afloat with a buoyancy that amazes those who look upon her, andnl attribute this to the dedication and hard Work of her seniors.
