review all our memories of Midwood which are usually saved for lhe Senior show and which fhe whole school misses hearing. Dolly Tunicl: was Ceniral Sing chairman, raking over 'lhe posilion Bobbie Hyman held las+ year. Members of lhe class on her commillee were Alice Rheims, Carole Herman, Rachel Minh, Audrey Gerson and Bobbie Hyman who synchronized lhe program. ln Senior Sing we counied fifiy odd boys and girls: in facl, lhe oddesl' you've ever seen. Judy Elwood was Senior Sing chairman and Leslie lmporl vice- chairman. They shouldered ihe worries, complainrs and laler lhe congralula-lions of everyone concerned. Lila Picard led the songs and Carole Muchnicl: was al' fhe piano. Laura Schoonmalzer made lhe slrilzing blue cap and gown cosfumesg Lila Kaufman handled lhe props which included waler pislols, candles, and ping-pong racquers. The clever lyrics were wriflen by everyone. as we were exceplionally clever sludenls. The Seniors were firsi' on 'lhe program and ihe enlrance was yery solemn and impressive as lhe boys and girls marched down 'lhe aisle lo Four Long Years of High School. oflen called Land of Hope and Glory. Flo Low played a Freshman in a dance 'lo There Was a Soul, suspiciously reminiscenl' of Narure Boy. Joe Blonslzy and Arlene Sherman sang a duel 'lo We're Leaving Midwood, l+'s True, our alma maier song. Shouling Fire Hazard.
