At the first meeting Mardelle Harvey presided as chairman and called for nomination of oliicers. Since the club attracted so many representatives from all four classes, the charter members decided to elect one otiicer from each class. Thus Richard Moore was chosen Thespisg Kay Graves Auripedes, Duane Averstrect, Acschycus, and Marsha Fleming, Sophocles. Very little has been accomplished this year as far as plays and stage produc- tions are concerned. Instruction in the use of stage make-up given by Mardelle Har- vey and Joan McCain, last year's dramatic students, and some fundamental stage directions are the extent of the year's accomplishments. However, a fine organization has been created and the coming year will no doubt see excellent dramatic programs sponsored by the club.

The girls elected their officers the first meeting with Mardelle Harvey as presidentg Joyce Hooley, vice presidentg Donna Carr, treasurer, and Carol Morris, scretary. Miss Dille and Miss Yearous were able sponsors. Skits and pep talks were prepared before every game to lift the school morale generally, and the team's spirit specifically. The annual Football Banquet, at which the T.N.T. members entertained the football squad, was a great success. The cafeteria was the site of this merry-making. The girls decorated the windows, lights, and tables with the school colors, red and white. A clever centerpiece, consisting of a tiny football field with its goal posts wrapped in red and white crepe paper and with tiny gum drop figures simulating play- ers, held the center of attention. After a delicious dinner, thanks to Mrs. Coggeshall and Mrs. Jerman, Mr. Davis gave a brief speech and Coach Bays presented the sea- son's awards to the boys on the team. Out of the T.N.T. ranks were elected the school leaders, Ginger Connors, Kay Graves, and Betty Parker. These spirited girls led a fine cheering section during the football and basketball seasons.
