Commandments of traditional tra- dition consisted of thou shalt not leave the auditorium until seniors are gone and thou shalt not walk on the Bomber inlay. Tradition meant the most to a sen- ior after having been the underdog for two years. Maybe it had some- thing to do with respect or may- be it was just upholding tradition so that by the time we became sen- iors, somebody would do nice things for us, too. Whatever the cause was, most of our school did uphold tradition. This year, though, people ques- tioned what was once taken for granted year after year. But if people didn't have alert enough minds to be curious and question, where would progress come from? Do you remember how it used to be? Sunsets were never hazy, wa- ter was pure, and air was once clean. Ecology-high school stu- dents became concerned with the earth's survival. Things like flowers and animals may become extinct if we all don't do our part.
