Cn the top where we belong . . . seniors . . . giving underclassmen a rough time because they are . . . we, the varsity, the club officers and the spirit leaders . . . facing ACT and SAT test . . . thinking about college but being glad we're still seniors . . . we had our own parking lot . . . our own reserved seats . . . privileges . . . sponsoring a dance . . . selling senior class pins . . . we were the princessess and varsity players . . . we wrote our class will and prophecy . . . but classes got so routine that we found ourselves studying for our semester tests . . . or just staring at the second hand on the clock as it ticked away our last year . . . it wasn't just our slump, the whole school had it . . . there were English term papers and our extra money spent on cliff notes for tests we failed anyway . . . there were book reports thow many were faked?J . . . Macbeth and other kinds of English courses to take . . . and we took Psychology and Sociology to find out the how and why of human behavior . . . or really just an easy grade . . . we ran around in Cupid suits to deliver Valentines . . . we got some from friends and we got some we'd just like to forget about . . . we've come a long way since we had a pet planaria in bio- logy . . . all too soon - May 27 . . . caps and gowns . . . graduation and tears . . . we stopped depending on our friends' way of think- ing and we became indivi- duals again with our own views . . . how we've changed! seniors I 21
