They are divided into three homerooms. Their sponsors are Mrs. Looper, Mrs. Peters and Mr. Gregory. There were no class officers but each homeroom had its officers. Mrs. Looper's homeroom elected Charles Glenn as president, Kathy Anderson, vice-president, and Mary Jo Brown, secretary-treasurer. The officers of Mrs. Peter's homeroom are Raymond Lohman, president: Barbara Moore, vice-president, and Delores Porter, secretary-treasurer. Mr. Gregory's homeroom elected the following officers: Damon Wingfield, president, Mabel Anne Turner, vice-president, and Patty Scott, secretary-treasurer. Activities participated in by the Juniors were Pep Club, Football, Basketball, Baseball, Track, Red Cross, Annual Staff, and Glee Club. The Juniors show that they are interested in their studies as well as their activities since a large percentage of the pupils who made the State Honor Society were Juniors. Those who made the honor roll are: Mary Jo Brown, Patty Scott, Corbin Sarchet, Elaine Krebs, Joan Attebery, Josie Wilkes, Anne Palmer, Damon Wingfield, Barbara Moore, Leland Caldwell, and George Ritchie.
