Debbie Smith of Muskogee, Oklahoma, is this year's charming Miss MCC. Debbie has done well academically in her freshman year. Studying God's word is of primary importance to her, and she is also eager to share with others what she learns. The college chorus and Psallousi Singers were Debbie's main activities. Also she sings with the increasingly popu- lar I oy trio. Jon Durre is the 1971-'72 Mr. MCC. He is the son of a trustee and a second year student, hailing from Drum- right, Oklahoma. Music is Ion's major field of interest, He sings in the college chorus and the Psallousi Singers. Ion also mini- stered in song as a member of the Gospel Committee Trio. f Q One of the requirements of the honor of Mr. MCC is 3 I I a good academic average. Ion is an excellent student , who feels his classroom work is preciously valuable in his I l preparation for the ministry. Another activity of Ion's is AA.
