Tryouts, hours of rehearsal, voice lessons, promotional preparations, dress makir1g, bus loading, traveling, performing .... all fond memories of another great tour. The College Choir is not just a singing group, it's a unique personality. Midwest Christian College without the choir would not be the same school. The year was spent preparing for and performing on two tours. The Christmas tour led the singers to churches in Kansas and Oklahoma. ln the spring a much longer tour covering several states provided fun, excitement, and wonderful opportunities to wit- ness for Christ. The whole year was topped with the production of the college chorus' first record album, To God Be The Glory. The recording was a tremendous success due to its fine quality.

Professor Barr gave a greeting from the college at each performance. The Prayer Tower at Oral Roberts University was just one of the many sights seen on tours. Brief stops were enjoyable, but there was always more traveling to be done. There was always time to just pause and enjoy the beauty of God's creation.
