And those weird clothes!” When reminiscing through your parents' high school annuals, hove you ever realized that you might be saying that about your own onnuol ten years from now? Things that we do and things that we like will change drastically over the years. Our tastes adopt to the latest fods. To capture our special tastes during 1981-82, the Publications class rook o survey. Every student in the high school received o survey sheer. We received 64 surveys out of the 84 handed out. The survey consisted of 15 questions ranging from fashion preferences to favorite political figures. Hair and clothes fashions of a certain period of rime ore always remembered and ore captured by pictures. The favorite hairstyles, os indicated by the survey, were the feathery and curly looks. French braids were also mentioned and ore o populor new fod. The preppy” look is in ond dominated our survey wirh fashion favorites such os rab- collared shirts underneath swearers. Loafers, which feature o low heel, were the most populor shoes, bur there ore still quite o number of fenny runners” walking up ond down our halls. Good ole blue jeans haven't been forgotten ond were much olive in the survey with Lee's ond Wrangler’s being the most populor brands. Things such os foods ore nor concretely remembered by pictures. The food that was liked most was pizzo. The second choice was steak. The survey contradicted the troditionol stereotyped view of teenagers eating burgers ond fries. 3
