Introduction Each year the students of Midview High School participate in numerous and varied events. Athletics, speech, drama, organiza- tions, and dances all add to the enjoyment which is such a vital part of every school year. As time passes, we will look back to 1962-63 and recall the pleasure and companionship which we found in these activities. The aim of the LOG is to make these memories as vivid in the years to come as they are today. We of the LOG staff have derived a great amount of statisfac- tion from compiling and recording this pictorial history of the 1962-63 school year at Midview. We have endeavored to make this year’s book larger and more comprehensive than ever before. To all those who have aided with the production of this book, we extend our sincere appreciation. We are especially grateful to three men: Mr. Edgar Duncan, our advisor; Mr. Art Rogers, our photographer; and Mr. Pete Prentner, representative of the Amer- ican Yearbook Company. All gave freely of their time and ener- gies, and without their patience and guidance we could never have completed the task.
