ni -A-5 Radio Club if In early October a large number of freshmen were initiated into the Radio Club. The club membership includes six ham operators. l Officers elected this year were Jim Malone, President, Bob Roberts, Vice-president, Tom Brown, Treasurer, Larry l' 3 Pinkley, Secretary. Upon Jim Malone's resignation Bob Roberts assumed the presidency. 4, The members' first and foremost project was to teach and to increase the code speed of those at the group who l' were trying for their novice tickets The club members likewise handled the public-address lines at all home toot- A ball games. ln February a Parents' Night wa ur- ing which the group displayed and explained the n ot radio equipment, A sending and receiving statio also rigged tor that evening. The strongest aim ot the radio shack men is to constru an amateur radio station at the school and to obtain th own call. l-l
