'Z A We The newly organized Pep Club did a good job of cheering for their team at the Football and Basketball games, and also boosting the morale of the players. Elenore Atkinson directed the act- ivities of the group, while Bertha Jacks recorded the minutes and money matters. Boys' Fed Led by Arvid Evans and directed by Mr. Raymond Smith, the M. H. B. F. did a wonderful job of painting the boysi locker rooms. They contributed to the good of the school by placing trance of the school building. The F. T. A. of Midvale is headed by Mrs. June Nonnan T and boasts two officers of the Avys McCadden Future Teachers of America Club CCouncil, Cambridge, and Midvalel. Homecoming Holly Candidates for the Homecoming Queen were Bertha Jacks, Elsie Hale, Kathie Heinrich and Dianna Ader. Elsie was voted queen by the football team and was crowned by Captain Mil- ford Potter at the Greenleaf game October Queens .xHf A - 4 3-1 - !BA'1?gfZ ie' , T ' 4, 5 v if J .ye-. Holly Queen candidates were Deanna Ader, Ila Mae Morgan, Barbara Loney and Sharon Clare. Sharon was crowned at the Holly Dance December 19, 1957. 11, 1957. 91' 0,5 B ,AX Q-71 Qs This year M. H. S. cleared approximately S300 at the carnival. The Queen and King were chosen by penny votes. Those receiving the honor were Kent Craig, King and Molly Clelland, Queen.
