Junior Varsity Basketball Team, The Junior Varsity basketball team, although losing to Cambridge M9-33 in the District Tournament, showed up well during the season. Play Day onpe itive sports for girls have bee n changed no naydays. 'rua Softball Playday was held in Cambridge on Mon- day, October lil. nl the schools in the Long Pin League were repre- sented. A Round-Robin form of play was held and the team winning the most games throughout the day took home the traveling tro phy. Council and Mid- vale were undefeated up to the final game but Council received the trophy after the close gameby a score of 3 , mf rw 1 Q .Lx Nov. 23 the Voll e y- ball Play day was held in New Meadows Again each team in the League was repres ented . This Playday, unlike the Softball Playday, was a double elimination tourn ament. Council again took home the tro h . p y with McCall rl 5 coming in second. Midvale was ' S eliminated in t he third game.
