Football On September 13, 1957, the Midvale Rangers met the Council Lu berjacks at the Midvale football field. Council drove to a 3h to 0 victory. The following Friday afternoon the Rangers journeyed to New Meadows to play the Mountaineers. After a hard fought g me the Mountaineers came out on top with a 12 to 0 score. On September 27, the McCall Vandals journeyed to Midvale to clash in another football ga e. The Vandals traveled home with a victory of M5 to 0. One of the hardest games Midvale had to play was against the Cascade Ra blers, Friday, October h. The Ramblers won 6h to 0 on the Hidvale field. H1dvale's only non-conference game was played against the Greenleaf Grizzles at Midvale, October ll. After a hard fought contest the Grlzsles won 30 to 6. October 18 was victory day for the Cambridge Bulldogs at the Cambridge football field. They defeated Midvale Sl to 0. Nov mber 2 was the last chance Midvale had to win a football game. The Rangers traveled to Riggins to play the Savagea. The score at the end of the first half was Riggins 21 and Midvale 18. However, the Savages went on to win 3h to 18.
