FOOTBALL FOR 57 PREVIEW MIDVALE VS TUSCARAWAS VALLEY September 6 The Mldvale Blue Devlls edged the Tusky Valley Tro Jans 6 0 as Lonnle Fulp swept rxght end and raced 40 yards mto paydlrt for the score MIDVALE VS BREWSTER September 13 In thls contest the two teams played to a 0 0 txe Ln the first half But Brewster had a lxttle more gas ln the second half than the Blue Devlls and went on to w1n by a score of 21 0 MIDVALE VS WEST LAFAYEITE September 20 This was Mxdvales first conference game of the 57 season and It turned out to be a thrllllng game all the way through up mto the last seconds of play And the game ended at a 12 12 t1e MIDVALE VS DENNISON September 27 Golng mto l'.l11S game the Mrdvale Blue Devrls had a record of one loss one txe and after the game was over we had two losses and one t1e but xt was a hard fought game all the way with Lonnxe Fulp and Tom. Kracker accountmg for the 20 point.. of the Blue Devils. And tn tlus game Lonrue Fulp was picked player of the week Score 39 20 MIDVALE VS STRASBURM October 4 Playmg our fourth game of the season and second Conference game of the year we traveled to Stras burg to play host to the Tlgers Home Commg wl'uch tumed out very well for them and bad for us because we lost by a score of 19 0 Dave Fexster was plcked as player of the week MIDVALE VS TUSKY Odtober 11 In this contest there is not much I want to say because xt was our worst game of the season And after this game we had a record of 0 4 1 The player of the week was Tom Krocker Score 32 19 38 MIDVALE VS TUSKY VALLEY October 18 After we lost to Tusky we declded that it was time we put a few games on the wlnnmg side so lt came on the nlght of Oct 18 our Home Coming game wlth Tusky Valley Lonrue Fulp had a good night scormg 4 T D s and gammg 203 yards Also Larry Hlller had plcked player of the week Score 32 13 MIDVALE VS MALVERN October 24 After wmnlng our game wxth Tusky Valley the fol lowmg Saturday we played host to Malvern on a cold snowy day And m f.l'l1S game every player saw actlon after the first quarter Lonnie Fulp had another field day as dld Tom Krocker Bill Housel and Larry Hlllir Larry Relchman was plcked as player of the wee MIDVALE VS MARLBORO November 2 After wmmng two straxght we took a long ride to Marlboro to make lt three U1 a row but durmg the early part of the game they were playmg l1ke they wanted to wm thelr first game so lt went on at 0 0 until late ln the fourth quarter when Tom Krocker cored on an end sweep And then Larry Hlller scored to make lt a 13 0 ball game Player of the week was honored by Larry Hiller NIIDVALE VS UHRICHSVILLE November 8 This being the last game of the season for both teams and the first that xs m competxtxon between the two schools on the gndxron But it was a very good game ln the first half of play but after the second half started things began to change Uhnchsvllle scored and was leadmg 14 0 at the end of the third quarter and went on to wm the game by a score of 20 6 But we played with three 1nJured players off the starting eleven Player of the week was honored by Gary Carrothers li H ' ' Q . . . , .
