JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY On September 6 1955 our fleet of solld gold Cadlllacs wmded their way mto Mxdvale School The first Cadillac carrled our advxsor Mr Beaber There were 59 of us to begm our career of four years of high school We were glven the name Freshmen The first thmg we dxd was to elect 0510915 They were President Dave Belknap Vlce Presldent Roy Bran nan Secretary Dianne Belknap Treasurer Judy Dupler Class Representatlve Donald Monte We then selected ou1 motto whxch was Hard Work Is the Foundatlon to Succe s Our class flower white carnatlon class colors blue and whxte The whole class was very proud of the cheerleaders elected from our class Mary Varally and Sandra Pen1ck Another lucky gxrl was Carolyn Dxllon who was chosen to be Freshman queen attendant The boys dldnt take a back seat elther' They turned out xn large numbers for all sports and proved to be very good' We held a Freshman Junxor party whlch was one of the best ever seen by M H S ln the fall of 1956 we agam chmbed ln our fleet of gold Cadxllacs with Mr Beaber back as our adusor We elected OHICBFS for th1s wonderful year and they were Presldent Gary Carrothers Vlce Presxdent- Rxchard Mackey Secretary Judy Dupler Trea urer Mary Varally Class Representatxve-Dave Belknap We were very surprxsed when the roll was called to find that our class had lost 6 students leaving 53 of us to carry on as Sophomores Cheerleaders were elected and we were proud of the elected to be the Sophomore queen attendant at the home comlng game The boys agaln were outstand mg 1.n sports The usual Sophomore Sen1or party was held and enJoyed immensely' Students chosen to be on the Honor Soclety were Dlane Belknap Judy Dupler Nancy Hobart and Gary Carrothers Wxth a fleet of 57 Cadxllacs we entered our thlrd year of hlgh chool on September 3 1957 Tlus year we were gnen the name Jun1ors Thls year we had much- to look forward to Such as thc Jumor Semor Prom all selllng prlvlledes recelvmg our class rmgs and many other excxtxng thlngs Flrst of all we elected offlcers They are Presldent Rxchard Mackey V1ce Presldent Tom Krocker Secretary Lmda Carllsle Treasurer Dlane Belknap Cla s Representattve Larry Relchman The cheerleaders from our class are Lmda Carlxsle Mary Varally Judy Dupler and Sandra Pemck The boys are also domg very well 1n sports Queen at tendant was Dlane Belknap We have one more year of hlgh school and we re gomg to make the best of xt' We dont see how any year could be more wonderful than thxs one but we ll have to walt and see Lomplmunts of Harry Humphrles Ford 161 South Broadway New Philadelphia Ohio 8 l 7 , . . .
