PROPH ECY Here it is 1983, and I am attending the 25th re- union of the class of 1958, in New York City. As I looked around I heard Don Beans telling some others about his job as President of the Hot-Rods Association. I decided to get into the conservation to find out what a few of my other former class- mates were doin . B As we were talking Louise Eichel qMrs. Willard Desseckerj complimented -me on my hair style and I told her I had it done at the Midvale Beauty Shop. She was really amazed when I told her it was operated by three of our old class- mates: Joyce DeMattio, Patsy Many, and Nancy Westhafer. When I went to get some of the delicious food sent from Norma Fantin and Sally Trachel's restaurant, I bumped into Betty Lenarz, she told me she was happily married with seven kids. Atfer the reunion Betty invited me to spend the night with her. She had a large estate in New York, which was very beautiful. Betty agreed to take me downtown and show me around the next day. As we were walking past the hospital she told me that JoAnn Penick was head nurse there. We went into a drugstore to get a sundae and guess who waited on us None other than Sandra Weaver. While we were eating our sundaes, Gaye Tolloti walked in and joined us. She told us she was co-owner of a dental office and that business was ve ood. TY 8 As we were window shopping we met Etta Rey- mond KMrs. Jerry Kohlj and she invited us to spent the evening with her at the Latin Quarters, which was owned by Dave Porky Feister. So we went to the Latin Quarters that evening. The dinner was delicious and the music was just out of this world. We were curious to know who the bandleader was and Etta said it was non-other than the famous George Yoder. He. also lad Jim Scott featured as the star singer. Jun had toured all over the country with the band and has made quite a name for himself. . Minda Edie came in and we invited her to join us. She told us that her law firm in Chicago was doing very well and that Edna Gartrell was her bookkeeper. She was sorry she cou1dn't attend the reunion. She wanted to know how some of the others were doing now that they were out of school. I told her that Lonnie Fulp was head coach at Midvale University and Russ Hobart was playing pro-basketball with the N. Y. Knicker- bockers. After we left the Latin Quarters we decided to pay a late visit with Clinton LeMasters who owned a huge dairy farm in upper N. Y. State. The next day I decided to retum home and while I was driving along, my car stopped, and it was just my luck that it happened close to the Monte and Gibson Garage . They had the car fixed in no time at all. Right next to the garage was a used car lot owned by Duffy Stafford and Ronnie Ti- nor. I decided, before I returned home, I would like to have a souvenir to take with me. I went to this huge souvenir shop, and guess who was operating it! Don Patterson, Jim Meese, and Tom Wanosik. They had a lot of unusual and humorous articles. Finally I was home. I was so tired after the long ride, so our good neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hobart invited Lonnie and I over for dinner. Bonnie Hobart
