The Junior High team was made up of 7-8-9 grade boys some of which had never played football. But with the help of Coach Riley they h-ad eleven men on the Held at the first game and as the score showed at the end of the game the Newcomerstown Junior High knew they were there. ' Coach Beaber likes the idea of Junior High Football very much because it gives him a chance to look the crop over before they become Varsity Players. And the Fresh- men that play also had a chance with the Varsity on game night. So in the near fu- ture we wish to have a system which the boys will come to the varsity team ready for action.
