Many students, however, desire to spend it eating, so the cafeteria prepares hot lunches daily-items like spaghetti, tacos, pizza, fried chicken, and fish. Besides literature, grammar and writing skills are important, too, because each stu- dent needs to be able to express his thoughts and ideas to others. Term papers and thesis papers are a major part of English. Thus the English De- partment prepares each student in the skills of communication.
