The Trojans got off to a slow start but after the game with James Monroe the team began to come to life. Victories over Powhatan and Patrick Henry prepared the team for the game with Varina. At the Blue Devil's field, the Tro- jans rolled over their arch-rivals 21 to 12. This and victories over Goochland and Colonial Heights showed the real ability and spirit of the Trojan team.
