His hobby was long end runs, which kept Midland's opponents on the alert. When under way he was a ver hard man to down as he had a knack at throwing off tacklers. Ralph was a hard lighter under all conditions and proved a worth) addition to the Warrior s |uad. ALTON PETERSON, end Hampton First year W eight 160 Pete «lid splendid work at end. Although this is his first year, he soon ac- |uired the Midland light and sportsmanship. He was fast on following up punts and was a good tackier. Pete always gave his opponents plenty to think about on (he offensive and helped break up main plays. MARTIN KOOLEN, halfback Lincoln Third year W eight 170 Mart) played a wonderful game at half this season. He was fast on his feet, and hard man to stop when he got under way. DWIGHT HERNDON, halfback Fremont First year Weight 170 Jack came to Midland with a reputation of being a great broken li«‘l«l runner and his work under the Orange and Black has fully justified that reputation. Kill has been with the Orange and Klaek for four -ea-ons and during this time he has played every position except quarterback and center.
