At the first of the season. it was impossible to estimate how far the team might go in the District running. But one thing was always true: whenever the Bulldogs went on the field. some team was in for a battle from start to finish. In the early games, the team was molded into a real ball club. But lack of reseryes made it hard to predict how high the team could climb up the District ladder But after the Monahans game the Bulldogs were headed for the Regional crown and there was nothing that could keep them from attaining that honor The boys fought for that position and they truly earned the croyyn They not only played the best brand of ball but played from whistle to vyhistle in all games JOHN M COWDEN JR HIGH SCHOOL FOOT BALL SQUAD Bottom rote Secrmdrote Kenney king Roberts Bledsoe Dorsey Sapp C MclVlullan Wright Mile lop rote Weathers 4Asst Coach! lrrancis Bryan Bratton Cook Duncan Steiner Smith Sapp G Preels QCoach I Pan Th ru ar Y - 7 ' V ' ' V . 3 .
