The Shamrock 4-H Club had an enrollment of 20 members in the summer of 1960. They had as junior leaders, Sheila Weatherwax, Connie Cadwell, Marilyn Griggs, and Rita Smith, The officers were: President--Connie Cadwell,Vice-President--Sheila Weatherwax, Secretary--Marilyn Griggs, Treasurer--Rita Smith, Recreation Leader--Debbra All, Song Leader--Lucia Bridwell, Health 84 Safety--Kiva Stone, Reporter--Cheryl Bedwell and Patti Myers. Connie Cadwell was chosen to attend the Purdue Round-up and Marilyn Griggs and Sheila Weather wax attended Junior Leader Conference at Terre Haute. Also ourclub participated ina judging contestand won many ribbons at the County 4-H Fair. From Left to Right: Bob Stalcup, Bobby Tucker, John Rowe, Louhon Tucker, Doug Keller, and Billy Zellers. The Horseshoe 4-H Club has ll members this year. Their adult leader is Curt Baker. The junior leaders are Louhon Tucker and Bob Stalcup. The members are John Rowe, Bobby Tucker, Jim Hadley, Bobby McBride, Joe Duncan, Doug Keller, Aaron Keene, Billy Zellers, John Salter, Louhon Tucker, and Bob Stalcup. Among last year's club projects was a 3-day trip to Chicago and a visit to the Emge Packing Company at Fort Branch, Indiana. The club also did well at the County 4-H fair.
