Prophecy IN THE 8l'S After an elaborate military wedding, GENERAL GEORGE CORBIN, and his lovely bride, JANE HUNTER, left for their honeymoon. They stopped for gas at the DX station. There, they recognized their old school chum, BYRON BELL, president of the DX firm. They learned from him the location of the Club Idaho. As they were parking their car, whom did they meet but DAN BROWN, the lawyer, and TOM DRAKE, the doctor. As all four of them went into the night club, whom did they recognize leading the orchestra? It was none other than the great JAMES FRANKLIN TAYLOR. As they sat there listening to the beautiful music, all of a sudden the drums rolled and DON LE CO CQ appeared on the stage. He is now a classical singer married to the former NANCY SLATER. After his number, they all got together, talking about the other members of their old '6l class. They found out while they were talking that BOB STALCUP now plays basketball on a professional team and TOM MITCHELL is now in training for his first Olympic. Suddenly the lights dimmed and there appeared on the stage, the can-can girls, with that beautiful blonde, bombshell, JUDY HAYS, leading them. After her number, on came the well-known comedian of television, BILL JOHNSON. After a few corny jokes, his assistant BECKY NULL, sang their theme song, Stop Torturing Me. After the floor show, dinner was served by candlelight. They recognized the head waiter as JERRY ORMAN, who introduced his fourth wife to his old classmates. He informed them that MARY STEINHALL married Lee Strait and they are still living in Wright township where they are operating a grocery store. VICKI PAREE, the cigarette girl, came by our table. She is married to the chief cook and has three children. She told them that PAULA BEMIS had become a famous author and her latest book entitled How to Get a Man won the Pulitzer Prize. Her old school chum, PATTY BEDWELL, by carefully reading the book, succeeded in marrying the publisher, JERRY JOHNSON. JUDY MOSS still hasn't found her ideal man although she is looking in Hollywood. JEAN BORDERS has graduated from Indiana State and is now teaching in Indianapolis. ESTELLA LAWSON, a model, is now appearing on the cover page of Modern Romances, As they were leaving the night club, after learning about all of their schoolmates, they found that their senior sponsor, MISS MITCHELL, marriedamultimillionaire, and they are the proud parents of a baby girl. They named her Cozetta. Their other sponsor, MRS, SMITH, along with her husband is bicycling, on a bicycle built for two, to Florida--they want plenty of sunshine. STAY HAPPY.
